Additional information

The Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a new two-year degree offered by the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education in collaboration with Queen’s University Belfast.
Students will have the option of either seeking employment when they graduate, or transferring to Stage 2 of the BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s. By choosing the latter option, students can graduate with an honours degree after four years of study, just as they would if they were admitted to Stage 0 of the BEng degree at Queen’s.
