Additional information
BSc Dual Honours Astrophysics
You can combine Astrophysics with a science or non-science subject in equal weight for three years to achieve a BSc Dual Honours degree.
BSc Single Honours Astrophysics
You will be required to read a second subject for the first two years.
BSc Honours Astrophysics with Science Foundation Year
The Science Foundation Year gives you the background and study skills to enter the first year of a three-year Dual Honours degree Astrophysics course if your entry qualifications are such that you cannot enter directly into the BSc programme. The Science Foundation Year provides experience of a number of appropriate scientific disciplines, as well as development of practical, mathematical and study skills. The Science Foundation Year would also be appropriate if, for example, you had not studied the sciences beyond GCSE, or if you are seeking to enter higher education without traditional qualifications. |
