The foundation year of this programme is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to undertake undergraduate degrees in the fields of science and engineering.

Offers for admission onto the SEFP are generally higher than this minimum requirement, but lower than the requirements for direct entry to a three-year BSc/BEng degree course. You are also normally expect you to have studied at least one science, or mathematics, to A2-level or equivalent.
